LCPS Volleyball Displays Citizenship!

LCPS volleyball players found a way to serve as positive role models for young students on Tuesday. Members of the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity teams spent time with students at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School. Volleyball team members read Dr. Seuss books to the students, and then helped them make their very own Cat in the Hat and volleyball-themed hats! After craft time, volleyball team members introduced their young friends to volleyball with the help of balloons! LCPS sports teams regularly travel to elementary schools to meet with young students to help build positive relationships and to encourage them on their Journey to Greatness! The trips also help students learn what it means to be a good citizen, one of the Virginia Department of Education’s 5 Cs. Great job to all involved! For video highlights, click here!
